Nothing is more frustrating than getting bombarded with notifications you don’t need.

When I check my notifications, I want to see only the important stuff—not a bunch of noise.

And now, with HighLevel’s latest update, you can fully customize email and in-app notifications for your calendars. 🎉

You decide what gets sent, who gets notified, and when. No more unnecessary emails. No more missed follow-ups. Just clean, efficient communication between you, your team, and your clients.

Let’s break it down!

What’s New? Full Control Over Calendar Notifications

With this update, you can customize notifications for:
✅ Appointment confirmations
✅ Cancellations
✅ Reschedules
✅ Reminders
✅ Follow-ups

And these aren’t just generic system alerts—you can personalize the content, control who gets what, and even adjust the timing of each message.

Want a client to get a reminder 24 hours before a call, but your sales team to get a heads-up instantly? Done.

Want to send a follow-up email exactly 3 days after an appointment? Easy.

Let’s dive into how to set it up.

Want a hands-on walkthrough? Check out the interactive tutorial to see exactly how it works in action.

Pro Tips for Even Better Notifications

Only notify the right people – You don’t need to blast every team member with every notification. Fine-tune who gets what to keep things streamlined.

Use custom email templates – Instead of boring system messages, create engaging, branded emails inside Marketing > Emails > Templates.

Add extra recipients – Need a VA, assistant, or business partner to stay in the loop? Just add their email to the Additional Emails section.

Reduce duplicate emails – If you’re using guest forms for bookings, make sure you’re not sending multiple confirmation emails by accident. (Check this under Notifications > Confirmation Notification).
