Let’s cut the fluff.

You’ve got metrics for everything—except the three numbers that actually matter to your business. Trust me, I’ve been there.

Here’s the truth: Your dashboard isn’t just a reporting tool. It’s your business’s control center. And if you’re staring at a jumble of irrelevant graphs every morning, you’re flying blind.

But here’s the good news: HighLevel lets you build a dashboard so laser-focused, it feels like it reads your mind.

Want to see how? Let me walk you through exactly how I rebuilt mine—widget by widget—so you can steal my playbook.

How to Fix Your Default Dashboard

Picture this: Last year, my morning coffee went cold while I played “Where’s Waldo?” with my KPIs.

That’s when I realized: Default dashboards are built for everyone—which means they’re perfect for no one.

HighLevel’s magic isn’t in the data it collects… it’s in how you curate it.

Think of your dashboard like your favorite playlist: you wouldn’t shuffle every song ever recorded. You pick the bangers that get you hyped. Your dashboard? Same energy.

My 4-Step Custom Dashboard

Step 1:

Hit the Big Blue Button (No, Not That One)

Click the “+” in the top-left corner (it’s blue, you can’t miss it)

Select “Add Dashboard” and name it something that sparks joy. Mine’s called “The Money Matrix” – judge later.

Step 2:

Click “From Template Library” and sift through the options that align with your objectives. Each template offers a sneak peek into its layout and functionalities.

Once you’ve found your match, hit “Continue.”

Step 3:

Once you’re in the dashboard is where the magic starts. You’ll see widgets with all the information you need.

Click on the “Edit Dashboard” button and then “+ Add Widget” to open the menu and select more widgets to add to your dashboard.

Step 4:

Here’s where you turn analytics into art:

Click and drag widgets to create zones.

Right-click any widget to change visualization styles. Pie charts for ratios, line graphs for trends.
